Lawrence moved to Wolfville at a young age and calls the Annapolis Valley home. After spending his high school years working on a local farm, Lawrence received his Certificate of Applied Science at Acadia University and then completed his Mechanical Engineering degree at Dalhousie University in 2017.

Lawrence's diverse background in engineering includes experience in reliability planning, maintenance management, and quality assurance program development. Lawrence enjoys new challenges in engineering, from overhauling combustible dust collection systems to producing geometric alignment methodologies and performing harmonic vibration analysis. Lawrence likes to take up new learning opportunities and use innovative approaches and novel ideas to overcome obstacles.

In his spare time, Lawrence enjoys tinkering with 3D printers, performing at local open mics, and oil painting.
