Palmer Homes & Cottages builds quality turn-key homes and cottages in the Annapolis Valley region. Equilibrium Engineering was approached to provide solar power design solutions for an off-grid cottage as no existing grid connection was available.
Equilibrium coordinated with the client to ensure the PV system would integrate with the existing mechanical design intents and would allow the cottage to be occupied year-round. The 6kW system included an auto-start backup generator and adjustable-tilt racking to ensure efficient operation in any season.
